Choose the commitment that works for you and support The Black Star Project's mission. Volunteers are placed in positions based on interest, need, skills, location and availability. All volunteers receive training and ongoing support from The Black Star Project. All volunteers participate in an application and screening process (background checks if you work directly with youth), an in-person interview/orientation.
